with Stacy-Ann Searle, Landscape Artist If you have spent any time observing birds in your back yard or out in nature, you know that birds build a vast variety of nest types that vary in complexity and construction. They are beautiful to look at and a marvel of construction in the natural world. Due to the complexity of these nests, you may many find sketching them a bit daunting, but it doesn’t need to be. Join the Maker STEAM Team in the Innovation Lab during specified open hours to tinker with used and broken electronics through taking items apart! We'll provide the tools, you provide the curiosity! Come join us in the Children's Programming Room for Storytime with Ms. Chloe. This is a noisy Storytime that will be full of reading, singing, dancing, rhythm sticks, and bubbles! Afterwards we will play with dinosaurs and coloring pages. Geared towards toddlers to Kindergarteners, but all ages are welcome to join in the fun!
