Sketching the Bird Nest: 3-Week Serieswith Stacy-Ann Searle, Landscape Artist
If you have spent any time observing birds in your back yard or out in nature, you know that birds build a vast variety of nest types that vary in complexity and construction. They are beautiful to look at and a marvel of construction in the natural world.
Due to the complexity of these nests, you may many find sketching them a bit daunting, but it doesn’t need to be. In this three-session workshop, students will look at how to simplify the sketching process, focus on the key structural elements, and learn how to use erasers to draw and capture the essence of the nest.
