 kind of prey do they eat? Where do dragonflies live? When do female drag
 onflies feign death? Why are dragonflies iridescent?  \n\n \n\n\n\nJoin 
 Chris Goforth\, head of Collaborative Science at the North Carolina Muse
 um of Natural Science\, to learn more about these masters of flight!  \n
 \n\n\n \n\nChris Goforth is the head of Collaborative Science at the Nor
 th Carolina Museum of Natural Science and spends her day connecting visi
 tors to scientific research they can take part in as non-experts.  She h
 olds a bachelor's degree in biology and a master’s degree in entomology 
 and has published studies on dragonflies and giant water bugs.  She was 
 scared of insects as a young child\, but dragonflies have been her favor
 ite insects as long as she’s liked bugs.  She is most interested in thei
 r fascinating behaviors. \n\n \n\n\n\nTuesday July 28th starting at 6 p.
 m. in the Durham County Main Library auditorium located at 300 North Rox
 boro Street in Durham.      \n\nParking is available in the library park
 ing lot or at the North Queen Street Garage located at 115 North Queen S
 treet which is behind the apartments directly across the street from the
  library. Parking at the garage is free. Please bring your parking ticke
 t to a service point for validation.        \n\n \n\nRegistration is app
 reciated to receive an email reminder\, cancellation link\, and program 
 updates. Seating is first come first served. Registration does not hold 
 or guarantee a seat.      \n\nThere will be no live animals or insects a
