About the event

Join us outdoors for a relaxed Picnic in the Park. Enjoy a casual, open discussion of ROGUE by Julie Kagawa, surrounded by fresh air and green space. Participants are welcome to bring their own snacks and drinks to enjoy during the meetup. This laid-back gathering is a great way to connect with other readers, share book recommendations, and unwind in a peaceful setting. All teens are welcome; no registration required.

This month we will meet at Duke Park

In case of rain, we will meet at North Regional Library. Please contact Ms. Dom at fdiggs@dconc.gov with any questions or accessibility concerns.

About ROGUE:

Ember Hill left the dragon organization Talon to take her chances with rebel dragon Riley and his crew of rogues. But she can't forget Garret, the soldier of the dragonslaying Order of St. George who saved her from a Talon assassin--and by doing so, signed his own death warrant. Determined to save Garret from execution, Ember must convince Riley to help her break into the Order's headquarters. With assassins after them and Ember's own twin brother helping Talon hunt her down, the rogues find an unexpected ally in Garret and a new perspective on the underground battle between Talon and St. George. Soon Ember must decide: should she retreat to fight another day...or start an all-out war?.
