SUMMARY:Laser Cut Your Own Acrylic Phone Stand
DESCRIPTION:Join the Maker   STEAM team to use the laser cutter to engrav
 e and cut an acrylic phone stand in a small group learning environment w
 ith hands-on help! We will use our materials and provide materials for o
 ne acrylic phone stand per registrant. Come ready with a roughly 2" x 2"
  engrave design idea\, a .jpg or .png of your design image via cloud sto
 rage\, or just curiosity and we will have a few templates to choose from
  as well.\n\nThis small-group atmosphere will help introduce you to the 
 laser cutter in a welcoming setting and show you the process of completi
 ng a laser cut project to help you prepare for when you reserve the lase
 r cutter on your own in the future.\n\nRegistration is required. Partici
 pants will need to sign a safety waiver when in the makerspace. (This pr
 ogram is open to teens and adults. Teens under the age of 18 must have a
  guardian/parent present to sign the waiver.)\n\nWe also ask that you ta
 ke the online\, self-paced laser cutter orientation prior to coming to t
 he program (if you haven't already) so that the orientation setup steps 
 are completed.\n\nNote: If you have any accessibility questions or accom
