 in North Carolina\, for an engaging look at the fascinating lives of rub
 y-throated hummingbirds. Drawing on more than 25 years of research\, Sus
 an will explore the identification\, ecology\, and seasonal movements of
  North Carolina&#8217\;s only native hummingbird. She&#8217\;ll also sha
 re practical tips for creating gardens that provide the nectar and habit
 at these remarkable birds need.\nFollowing the presentation\, participan
 ts will have the opportunity to watch a live hummingbird banding demonst
 ration. Using live traps set up in the garden\, Susan will demonstrate h
 ow researchers safely capture\, handle\, measure\, and band hummingbirds
  before releasing them\, explaining how banding contributes to our under
 standing of these tiny birds and their conservation.\nThis program is of
