Ever feel confused about information and misinformation surroudning agriculture and nutrition? Join us for a program and discussion about misinformation and agriculture! This presentation will discuss common misconceptions and myths associated with agriculture in North Carolina and the country as a whole. Lead by agents from the North Carolina Cooperative Extension in Durham, this program will have a presenation for the first portion of the program time, followed by Q&A and more discussion. Feel free to bring questions and participate in discussion together.

Registration is required. The content of this program will be geared towards adults and teens.

This event will take place in the Innovation Lab on third floor of Main Library (300 N. Roxboro St, Durham, NC, 27701).

Voyager @ Books, Babies, & Brews

Join us for a Baby Storytime led by Franklin County Library, sensory exploration & coffee with Franklin County Parks and Recreation, and health education & resources provided by FCHD RIMC Program! This event is rain or shine, every Friday from Sept-Nov at 10:00 a.m., featuring different County Parks each month. It is designed for newborns to cruisers with an in-the-lap 15-minute Storytime and sensory toys appealing to younger babies. Storytime will start a few minutes after 10:00 a.m. and the rest of the hour is for free play, socializing, and taking advantage of the Bookmobile, Voyager! September-Franklinton Park October-Epsom Park November-V.E. and Lydia H. Owens Recreational Park at Bull Creek
