Roaming Readers: A Walking Audiobook Club!

About the event

Join us as we walk the trails of RTP while listening to audiobooks! After, feel free to join us at Drift Coffee Shop & Kitchen RTP for an optional discussion about the book and a chance to meet new people.

This month’s suggested audiobook is Where the Crawdads Sing (available on Libby). If you have already read it, or would prefer another title, we suggest: Telephone by Percival Everett (available on Libby and Hoopla) or Long After We Are Gone by Terah Shelton Harris (available on Libby and Hoopla).

This event is for book lovers, the book-curious, people who haven’t been able to make time to read (or listen) for fun, introverts, extroverts, exercisers, caregivers pushing strollers, (leashed) dog owners, groups, singles, nature lovers, and multi-taskers!

All paces welcome, please take breaks when you need them. We know it is easy to get transported to another world when listening to your book. Be sure to stay alert as we will be crossing roads and may encounter uneven pavement.
