About the event

Are you interested in being a historian? Join us at Historic Oak View on August 12 at 2 p.m. for an oral history program that teaches participants about the history of the subject and its relevance to Oak View and U.S. history. Free and open to all ages, but best suited for elementary-age children, and includes an interactive oral history activity that involves interviewing.

This program will take place indoors in a climate-controlled space and involves minimal walking. Accessible entrances are available, if needed. Your program leader will meet you at the park's front desk a few minutes before the program begins.

Schedule: Aug 12, 2026 Wednesday from 2pm to 3pm
