DESCRIPTION:Come join a supportive group environment for self-paced digit
 al skills courses. We'll be using Northstar Digital Literacy\, a free on
 line resource available to all Durham County Library patrons. A library 
 staff member will be present to get you set up and answer questions as e
 ach participant moves through online modules on their own at their own p
 ace. Northstar allows you to track your learning progress and earn badge
 s or certificates for completing a course. These classes are best for le
 arners who have at least basic keyboard and mouse skills. Our computer l
 ab has a limited number of laptops for use\, so bringing your own laptop
  and headphones is encouraged.\n\nComputer and digital skills topics inc
 lude:\n\n\n	Phone Keyboard Basics & Logging In\n	Basic Computer Skills\n
 	Internet Basics\n	Using Email\n	Windows 10 & 11\n	Mac OS\n	Microsoft Wo

 aced and each week participants will choose which lessons they want to c
 omplete on their own. You do not need to have come to the first class to
  attend the following weeks and there is no requirement to commit to all
  of the classes through August. Register for the weeks that work best fo
