DESCRIPTION:Explore geodes in this hands-on tween program inspired by the
  Summer Reading theme “Unearth a Story." We’ll start by learning what ge
 odes are and how they form. Participants will then take part in a crysta
 l‑growing simulation experiment\, creating their own crystal formations 
 to mirror the natural process. Finally\, the adventure continues as ever
 yone cracks open rocks. Will yours be a geode filled with dazzling cryst
 als? There’s only one way to find out!\n\nRegistration is required. Gear
 ed towards ages 8-13\, siblings welcome. Children under age 11 must have
  a parent/guardian accompanying them.\n\nNote: If you have any accessibi
