DESCRIPTION:Grab your notebook and a pen\, and let's write! The Page & Pe
 n Writing Workshop meets roughly every six weeks and is open to anyone w
 ho wants to improve their creative writing skills. Session formats vary 
 and may include writing exercises\, discussion about technique and proce
 ss\, sharing ideas for organizing work sessions and workspaces\, or expl
 oration of any challenges you may be facing in the struggle to write.\n\
 nTopic for this session: The Writer's Desk\n\nTruman Capote claimed he w
 rote best while lying down. Ernest Hemingway wrote standing at a typewri
 ter on a chest-high shelf. Edith Wharton wrote in bed\, longhand\, with 
 her dogs nearby. What does your workspace look like? Do you work best in
  the same space every time\, or are you a mobile laptop nomad? In this 9
 0-minute session that will include a few writing exercises\, we'll inves
 tigate strategies for organizing workspaces.\n\n\n\nThis program is open
  to anyone at any time: drop in once\, attend every session\, or show up
  every once in a while -- no long-term commitment is required. Space is
