DESCRIPTION:Join us on Saturday\, June 13 at 10:30 a.m. at Historic Oak V
 iew for a walking tour focused on the history of Juneteenth and how the 
 transition from slavery to freedom was experienced by Oak View's enslave
 d community. Discover stories of how African American families celebrate
 d their liberation and the steps they took to plant seeds of freedom for
  themselves and their descendants. After the tour\, participants will be
  invited to fold their own wildflower seed packet and reflect on what fr
 eedom means to them. Free and open to all\, recommended for ages 4th gra
 de and up. Registration is required for all participants.\n\nWe will run
  the program rain or shine\, so please come prepared with weather approp
 riate clothing. The tour will take place outdoors and in non-climate con
 trolled historic buildings\, and includes standing and walking between b
