DESCRIPTION:This session is designed for existing small business owners w
 ho are currently generating revenue and are ready to expand into local\,
  state\, and federal contracting opportunities. Participants will gain a
  clear understanding of today’s business certification landscape and how
  certifications can be strategically leveraged to access government\, in
 stitutional\, and corporate procurement opportunities.\n\nThe training w
 ill cover certifications such as Minority-Owned\, Women-Owned\, Veteran-
 Owned\, Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE)\, HUB\, and other applic
 able programs\, and how these designations can strengthen credibility\, 
 increase visibility\, and support business growth. In addition\, this se
 ssion will address how to leverage certifications during shifts or decli
 nes in diversity\, equity\, and inclusion (DEI) resources\, including st
 rategies for positioning your business within procurement goals\, suppli
 er diversity requirements\, small business set-asides\, and alternative 
 contracting pathways.\n\nParticipants will also learn current procuremen
 t trends\, required documentation\, readiness expectations\, and practic
 al next steps to prepare for contracting opportunities ranging from smal
 l purchase agreements to large-scale contracts.\n\nThis workshop is host
 ed by La-Tasha Best-Gaddy\, founder and chief strategist of Infinity Bri
