About the event

Ready, Set, Baby Classes: Free prenatal breastfeeding education class designed to help you get ready for your baby, whether you are a first-time parent or adding to your family. These classes are a great way to prepare for pregnancy, birth, and life with a newborn. You’ll get helpful information on breastfeeding, postpartum care, and what to expect in those early weeks. Our class is packed with conversations, resources, and a raffle prize at the end! You’ll have a chance to win amazing prizes like:

Breast pumps Diaper bags filled with baby essentials Car seats Breastfeeding pillows …and more!

The next class will be held on Saturday, May 2, 2026, at 10a.m. at North Regional Library. North Regional Library is located at 221 Milton Rd. Durham, NC 27712.

Voyager @ Books, Babies, & Brews

Join us for a Baby Storytime led by Franklin County Library, sensory exploration & coffee with Franklin County Parks and Recreation, and health education & resources provided by FCHD RIMC Program! This event is rain or shine, every Friday from Sept-Nov at 10:00 a.m., featuring different County Parks each month. It is designed for newborns to cruisers with an in-the-lap 15-minute Storytime and sensory toys appealing to younger babies. Storytime will start a few minutes after 10:00 a.m. and the rest of the hour is for free play, socializing, and taking advantage of the Bookmobile, Voyager! September-Franklinton Park October-Epsom Park November-V.E. and Lydia H. Owens Recreational Park at Bull Creek
