 nd Nic Cage is going to steal it! \n\nCelebrate two of America’s nationa
 l treasures: The Declaration of Independence and Nicolas Cage at Main Li
 brary! \n\n \n\nStart the celebration at 1:30 pm and learn How Does He D
 o It? A Nic Cage Acting Workshop a question myself and many others ask t
 hemselves while watching a Nicolas Cage performance. How can one man con
 tain so much range and is able to go from 0 to 100 in the blink of an ey
 e? Well now we can finally start to answer these big questions. This act
 ing workshop is dedicated to studying the craft of the Cage. From his Os
 car nominated turns\, to voiceover roles\, the memes and everything in b
 etween\, this is a wholly sincere program where we will learn and practi
 ce techniques that the legend himself has utilized. \n\nThis workshop wi
 ll consist of acting warmup exercises\, improv and some light scene work
 . Be ready to be on your feet and do some silly things! Everyone is welc
 ome and it's all in the name of the Cage (and good fun)! \n\nThis progra
 m is for all ages and starts on Saturday August 22nd at 1:30 p.m. in the
  Children’s Programming Room located on the second floor of the Main Lib
 rary.  Register for How Does He Do It? A Nic Cage Acting Workshop !\n\n 
 \n\n\n\nWant to prepare yourself for the Declaration of Independence com
 ing to Main Library? Sneak your way into the Main Library auditorium for
  a special film screening of National Treasure and learn how to steal it
 !  \n\nActivity sheets will be available! A limited amount of free DVD’s
  of National Treasure and National Treasure: Book of Secrets will be ava
 ilable thanks to generous donations from the community to The Friends of
  the Durham Library !\n\nReleased in 2004 Nic Cage plays Benjamin Frankl
 in Gates\, a historian\, along with a computer expert and archivist\, se
 arch for a massive lost Freemason treasure\, which includes a map hidden
  on the back of the United States Declaration of Independence.  \n\nSatu
 rday August 22nd starting at 3 pm in the Main Library auditorium this fi
 lm runs about 2 ½ hours and is rated PG. \n\nRegister on this page for t

 gh Nic Cage for you? Complete the National Treasure scavenger hunt in th
 e Children’s area and win a prize from the treasure box! \n\nThe scaveng
 er hunt is suitable for juveniles accompanied by an adult and is an all 
 day drop in event.  \n\n \n\nOn display will be an original American Lib
 rary Association READ poster featuring Nic Cage! \n\n \n\nParking is ava
 ilable in the library parking lot or at the North Queen Street Garage lo
 cated at 115 North Queen Street which is behind the apartments directly 
 across the street from the library.\n\n \n\nThere will be no live Nic Ca
